Presently SuhrudMandal runs four schools for children with Hearing Impairment in Pune and its
vicinity. One of the schools is a residential school. Two schools provide education at Pre-Primary and
Primary Level. Two schools are providing education at secondary level.
This school started on 1 August 1980 as a branch of Badhir Mook Shikshan Kendra and received
recognition in 1993 as an independent school . It has 75 students and like all Suhrud
Mandal’s schools it is well equipped with teaching aids and play ground . Besides
academics teachers encourage several activities such as ——— It trains the students in
sports and cultural activities. Every year the school conducts a unique activity It has a
competition for” clean and beautiful home “of students’ Parents compete very
enthusiastically in this .In the year…..this program was started by Mrs. Anjali Agashe,
Principal and the teachers .
