One of the schools of SuhrudMandal , BadhirMookShikshan Kendra (at Bhandarkar road, Pune) is up to 7 th standards with student capacity of 100 students . After passing 7 th standard the students have to look out for another school or else their education comes to an end. ) On the principle of natural growth, SuhrudMandal intends to start 8th grade class and intends to expand till 10th grade in next two years. Dept of Social Justice and empowerment has considered this proposal on no grant basis.

The school started planning to start with 8th class in 2014-15 year and 9 th standard this year , 2015-16 . Our kind supporter for this project was Mahindra and Mahindra company , Mumbai .

On the request of Parents and students Suhrud Mandal‘s Badhir Mook Shikshan Kendra started classes 8th to 10th with the assistance of “ Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. , Mumbai “ through CSR program.

There have been challenges, and hurdles to adopt and to implement the academic program for these children in special schools. The expert committee was formed to undertake the task of adaptation of the text books for std I,II,III,IV published by Balbharati. This adaptation exercise was done adhering the guidelines set by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) , and Ali Yaver Jung National Institute of Hearing Handicapped (AYJNIHH)

The students from 1 st standered to 10 th standard will be benifited from this programme. The Rotary Club ( Kothrud ) helped Suhrud by providing the technology & software to start the program in all 4 schools.
