In order to become independent ,it is essential to teach different vocational skills to the students .
Previously, Government recognized courses like File making, book binding , electrical wireman, laundry
etc. along with courses like tailoring, making wax candles , making paper bags were executed in the technical school.To suit the demand & changed technology, Suhrud Mandal has introduced Basic Computer training and DTP course . Training in different vocational skills would make our young impaired individuals economically independent.

Suhrud Tantraniketan has been functioning for the past 25 years. Forthe first few years , training in skills, such as file making ,book binding ,electrical wiring ,laundry,candle making was imparted.

However, in order to keep pace with the changing times, Suhrud has introduced courses in ‘Basic Computer Training’ ,’Desktop Publishing(DTP)’,tailoring,etc.

Suhrud is actively collaborating with other institution ,which not only offer training, but also help seek jobs.

Suhrud Tantraniketan holds periodical meetings with parents to guide them regarding job oppurtunities for the hearing impaired youth.
