The foundation of Suhrud Mandal was inspired by the vision and guidance of Late Smt. Malatibai Joshi, a renowned educationist, whose deep compassion for hearing-impaired children and profound understanding of their educational needs left a lasting legacy.
We continue to remain committed to this day to address the needs of differently abled students, with focus on imparting quality education to hearing impaired children free of cost and developing trained teachers for that purpose.
Presently, we serve more than 450 students each year through 6 educational centers that we have established over the years in and around Pune

All the schools are equipped with sound proof rooms, modern equipment for testing hearing loss ,group hearing aids & personal hearing aids New modified FM system is installed in all the schools for the newly admitted children and the expansion is in progress. Encourage tudents to participate in variouscompetitions. No tuition fees. Free transport from home to school & back for students below 15 years of age. Free hearing aids, books & stationaryÁ uniforms. Free mid day snacks.
